A word from Alida:

Associates:

When I was growing up, my teachers were the singers on the tapes my parents played in the car, and the singers on the radio. They were singers like Kim Wilde, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Sarah McLachlan just to name a few. I listened and emulated and began crafting the beginnings of my personal singing style by pulling from them what I liked.

Over the years I've crafted a teaching style much in the same way. I've absorbed multiple programs created by some of the industry's top vocal coaches, and have had the pleasure of training one-on-one under Demi Lovato and Beyonce's former vocal coach, Tom McKinney. All of these teachers have played a huge role in my voice today--each playing a part in taking my voice from a very light singing voice without substance, to one that has more colors and textures than I thought possible--and I've STILL got a lot to learn!  Taking my voice through that journey has made it possible for me to help many other singers work through their own vocal issues.

Is your voice too soft? We can do something about it! Do you run out of air quickly? We can fix that. Does it feel like you have to scream out the high notes? There's a reason for why that is, and I can show and explain it to you, and help you find a better way.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced singer (or something in between), the growth never, ever stops!  I look forward to learning a long with you on your own musical journey.
